    - Part of Deep Fault Drilling Project (DFDP) team drilling the Alpine Fault.  Utilising the fluid pressure monitoring array

    - Hydrological effects of earthquakes on groundwater, monitoring boreholes throughout the country (Regional Council monitoring, Contact energy monitoring at Clyde Dam). Use of data from existing holes and networks - no new drilling

    - was in contact with ECAN over a stratigraphic drillhole being drilled near Methven (project status unsure after quake)

    - utilised all the drilling at the Macraes Gold project (OceanaGold) to understand schist lithology and controls on mineralisation, and Cenozoic faulting. ~8000 bore holes and an active exploration programme at Macraes. Targeting of drilling resulted in discovery of the Macraes Underground resource. Holds client datasets in commercial directory

    - utilised all the drilling at the Reefton Gold project (OceanaGold) to understand schist lithology and controls on mineralisation. ~300 bore holes and an active exploration programme in the Reefton Goldfield. Holds client datasets in commercial directory

    - has just collected a series of 2m hand cores at Copland hot springs, Westland to try and determine the age of the travertine deposit. Borrowed equipment of Marcus Vandergoes.  Part of a project to understand fluid flow in the hangingwall of the Alpine fault.
